Before I met Tardeusz, I was only told he painted. But when I got to his (one extremely large) warehouse, I learnt he also sculpts large metal pieces and he pretty much built his entire house himself, the room, the bathroom, the kitchen, all out of reused materials. One all-rounded polish man he is.

If life was a building, this gentleman would have to be one of my cornerstones.

Aaron & Owen Smith
You might remember Owen (bottom photo) from San Francisco, I was privileged to have been introduced to his twin brother Aaron when I visited Los Angeles. Owen illustrates, Aaron paints. Both of them showered me with kindness beyond human abilities, such wonderful gentlemen they are.

Combining her love for Mathematics and Art, she creates the sickest looking pattern-work.
She would spend months planning for a piece, with mathematical equations and stuff like that (honestly I didn't know half of the equations she was talking about) and then she would spend hours and hours working on these intricate pieces.

Thankfully, a friend directed me to a video about Sophie and the print she did for the New York Subway. (Which you should watch here, it's only 4 minutes)
I'm assuming half of you didn't click on that link, because let's face it, most of us can't be bothered clicking on a video link and watching it. So this is me forcing Sophie's story down your throats.
Sophie runs a blog "Missed Connections". Missed Connections is a section in craigslist for lovestruck individuals to write to that drop dead gorgeous girl on the bus but never got the chance to talk to her because she was busy reading her book. What Sophie does is she draws these couples that write to each other in her own special way.
Yeah, now you want to watch the video don't you? Go ahead, click here.
