Before I met Tardeusz, I was only told he painted. But when I got to his (one extremely large) warehouse, I learnt he also sculpts large metal pieces and he pretty much built his entire house himself, the room, the bathroom, the kitchen, all out of reused materials. One all-rounded polish man he is.

This dude has really crazy sculpture work. If you've been lazy and haven't been clicking on the links, please do yourself a favour and look at his work.

Victor Cartagena again, and I know what you're thinking, eccentric artist holding on to random shit, I wish it was that way to be honest, it makes a good story. But here's a decent story anyway, his studio recently got flooded and it destroyed some of his work for an upcoming exhibition. He thought it'd be funny to have a photo with an umbrella to remember this little mishap. Crazy dude.

Back to Lawrence LaBianca, beautiful workshop space, room just filled with strange looking equipment. I had the honor of a guided tour, he took me around and showed me what each "machine" does. The one in the second photo is a machine that connect helium balloons to pencils, what he does is he puts this machine in an open space and allow the environment to control the balloons, in turn leaving "marks" on a piece of paper.
This room is what he wakes up to every morning, I'm gonna say 90% of the things in this photo is built by him. Past projects mostly.
A close-up of one of my favorite projects. In this one, he made a miniature boat with an interior covered in copper, he put tiny steel balls in the boat and left it in the ocean, and these are the marks again, left by nature itself.
